As a Web Design Intern, you will be responsible for the creation of online material in a way that generates the best response from our user. You will produce effective landing pages, banners, microsites and other online materials.

Assignment description:

  • Level: Graduation Internship
  • Job functions: Web visual design
  • Duration: 5 months
  • 24-40 hours per week
  • Our office is based in central Rotterdam, The Netherlands

Key Requirements:

  • Preferably, an MBO level 4 or HBO student
  • Ability to work independently
  • Hands-on mentality
  • Understanding of social media and quality content
  • Passion for web visual design, hospitality industry, marketing, and technology

Must have background and experience requirements:

  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS & JavaScript
  • Strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, with a focus on Photoshop & Illustrator
  • Knowledge of InDesign and/or Sketch
  • Strong background in UI & UX Design
  • Knowledge of cross-device & responsive design
  • Experience with mobile web applications
  • Basic knowledge of PHP is a plus
  • Experience with designing for A/B or multivariate testing is a pre

Assignment description

  • Website design and development platform.
  • Creation of Landing pages & email templates.
  • Optimize websites for mobile and user experience.
  • Quality assurance of work by testing functionality on a wide variety of browsers and platforms using testing suites.
  • Create website experiences that result in an increase in lead generation and customer acquisition.
  • Work with the team to incorporate the latest technology to always be improving the quality of the user experience.
